Visitors

You are assured a warm welcome at Portslade Baptist Church. Whether you are a Christian, someone exploring faith or just wanting to see what's going on you are welcome at any of our meetings.

On Sundays we meet at Portslade Baptist Church, South Street, Portslade Old Village, BN41 2LE. Our site is just next to the village green.

What to expect
Our weekly services include a mixture of songs, readings, prayers and a talk, where the Preacher will share God's word. About half way through, the young people go off to their activities.
After the service, everyone is invited into our side hall, where we serve refreshments. Throughout the service, please feel free to just observe, or get stuck in!
If you have any questions, there will be our welcome team at the door to chat to, and if you want to chat about anything after the service, lots of people will be around to help you!

Times of Services
We have a prayer time at 10.15 am, and morning service at 10.30 am, followed by refreshments.

Communion is celebrated on the 3rd and 5th Sunday Mornings in a month.

Getting to Us
Bus:  The no. 1 or 1A bus going from Brighton to Mile Oak and back to Brighton stops nearly outside the church (stop is called St. Nicholas Church), and runs every 15 mins on Sundays, more frequently during the week.

Car:  We have a small car park at the church, but if that is full there is a free public car park next to the church on the same side of the road.

If you need a lift to church please email us and we will arrange this if possible.

Children in Church
On Sunday mornings there are groups for children and young people. They meet with everyone and take part during the first half of the service, then leave for their groups for the 2nd half.
